The Royal Danish Theatre

I just read a list called Things That Should be Banned From Ads: The Definitive List, and while I agree with most points (especially the eyelashes one. Christ, that annoys me), I disagree with banning opera singers. Solely, granted, on the basis of this fantastic ad for The Royal Danish Theatre.

It's in Danish, but it's not really necessary that you understand. However, if you're curious here's a brief summary. He says he had a weird dream, everything was burning and while it was violent, it was beautiful. Then the wonderfully slightly crazy looking woman asks if it's still burning. The end. Beautifully weird.

Fentimans

We had cases and cases of Fentimans at our wedding in July. We wanted some fizzy drink, and wanted something that would go well with our red and white striped straws (we were very particular). After going through about a dozen various old fashioned bottles of cola, lemonade and ginger beer, we happened upon Fentimans, which not only looks gorgeous, but also tastes bloody lovely (they also made dandelion and burdock which was really the icing on the cake). Anyway, today I read a post on the Sell! Sell! blog and it turns out they do Fentimans' marketing, and rather lovely it is too. Here are some prints.
