The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - Title Credits

I went to see The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo last night. I'm normally not a big fan of Hollywood remakes, but the fact that it was directed by David Fincher, and that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross were doing the soundtrack made me pretty curious. Once I saw the teaser trailer I was sold, and I have to say that it's pretty damn good. The title credits were stunning, but I've only been able to find a fairly shitty version which is extremely annoying.  It just doesn't do them justice. I'll update as soon as I find an HD version, but to be perfectly honest, the film is worth it just to see the credits. It's all very twisted Bond.

Just found an HD version (16/01/2012). Can't wait to see what the other two films will be like.

Here's the teaser trailer just because I think it's so good.

Macro Kingdom III

Director Clemens Wirth made this stunning video using, among other things, liquid nitrogen and dry-ice. It somehow reminds me of film titles, maybe David Fincher? Not really sure why, but there you go.

Incidently, I watched the BBC's Frozen Planet on Monday and learnt about a caterpillar that freezes to death in the winter and comes back to life in the Spring every year for 14 years before turning, finally, into a moth. Mental.
