Two blogs about a whole lot of nothing

Internet Numero 13

This week's biggest event was projectile vomiting. It's hard to believe a baby can hold so much in its tiny body until you witness, first hand, semi-digested milk gracefully arch over a shoulder and on to the floor. You can't even be angry. It's just so impressive.

Speaking of impressive, can you believe you can actually buy Marmite and Pot Noodle flavoured Easter eggs? Actually, that's more disgusting, but in an impressive way. Anyway, on to this week's handpicked internet fun, none of which will really make a difference, but that's the internet for you. You can start by learning how to tie knots. I had to tie one recently (a double Fisherman's Knot - not featured here), and had to use a YouTube video to do it. Anyway, here you go.

Extra info: a knot in Danish is 'knob'. I might be 36, but I still giggle when I see it. In fact, a friend posted a picture of a Danish book he found called '25 Knobs'. That was funny.

Feel left out of the hipster crowd? Well here you can create your own hipster logo, because who doesn't want one?

I love these musicless music videos, and Fight for your Right was begging for it.

This week marked the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. I can highly recommend the C4 documentary, Night Will Fall, "The extraordinary story of the Allied forces who filmed the terrible scenes in the Nazi concentration camps, and Sidney Bernstein's attempt to produce a landmark documentary record of what they found." It feature never seen before footage from the Soviet and British troops as they found not only Auschwitz, but other camps too. It's absolutely awful, and should be seen by everyone.

You should also check out this drone footage from the BBC. I've aways wanted to go to Auschwitz, and in fact was meant to go but then this whole baby thing came along so the trip is delayed. I will go. Maybe next year.

On a much lighter note, here's a periodic table of beer (click for a bigger image).

Last, but not least, make your own monster thanks to Ed Harrington.

Oh wait, I forgot something about space. Here you go!

OK, there is one more thing... Stephen Fry on God. Marvellous.

Have a smashing weekend.
